No return before December for Bojan Bogdanovic?

From the Nets, he has so far only (re)seen the infirmary. Involved in the trade for Mikal Bridges, Bojan Bogdanovic Has yet to make his debut for his new team due to a left foot injury.

An injury, in addition to discomfort in his left wrist, which prompted him to have surgery last May, while he was still wearing the Knicks jersey. Absent for the rest of the playoff campaign, and for the TQO with Croatia, he still seems to be in the dark.

THE New York Post ensures that his return should not take place before next month. “ I saw him on the field shooting (Wednesday). He is progressing well in 5-on-5 play in real conditions. We're not going to give an exact date, but he's doing well. », reassures his coach Jordi Fernandez.

According to the latter, the 35-year-old veteran is in a good state of mind. “ He had a good week. He was with us on the move. It's important to have him on our side because he's a veteran. He speaks at rallies, he gives advice to the guys on what to do and his involvement is very important », Develops the coach.

A return that he appreciates

The latter is thus deprived of its oldest player and one of the most experienced on the team with Dennis Schroder. What's more, a player who knows the Nets: Bojan Bogdanovic made his NBA debut there in 2014.

I'm very happy to be back. I was there when they opened this training center and the Barclay. A few guys have left since that time (laugh) ! The energy is different. I feel pretty good and confident “, he said during his “media day”.

Jordi Fernandez, already without Day'Ron Sharpe and Trendon Watford, had to do without Ben Simmons and Dorian Finney-Smith last night to face the Celtics. The first was hit in the calf apparently without seriousness, while the second suffered from a sprained ankle.
