Gregg Popovich suffers a “mini-stroke”

We wondered what was suffering Gregg Popovichfar from the bench Spurs for ten days due to a health problem. Eventually, ESPN tells us that the legendary Texan coach suffered a “mini-stroke” on November 2 and that he should be able to make a full recovery before returning to business.

Still absent for an indefinite period, the almost 76-year-old technician has already missed the last six matches of San Antonio and, without him, it is Mitch Johnson who takes over as interim at Fort Alamo, for a record of three victories and three defeats (5-6 overall, for 12th place in the West).

Afterwards, it was said that Gregg Popovich “was doing well” and that he simply “needed some rest”, the Spurs wanting to be reassuring regarding his state of health. Before ESPN is no longer worried about it, citing a “serious problem”.
