Thinning in San Francisco
Christian McCaffrey returns to the field! Training, to begin with. But according to NFL Media, the star runner has a good chance of playing with his franchise this weekend.
San Francisco has not seen the reigning offensive player of the year since September 14, 2024. Since that date, the running back has suffered from inflammation of the Achilles tendons. His open training window is good news as his participation in the entire season has been questioned on numerous occasions.

Christian McCaffrey the missing link
San Francisco has been slipping since the start of the season. The franchise currently in balance (4 wins – 4 losses), needs a little help from destiny and Christian McCaffrey to soar in a very dense NFC West.
Jordan Mason (RB) perfectly replaced his colleague in the first weeks of competition. It then grew dull, until a series of small aches and pains occurred. The return of Christian McCaffrey is therefore timely. You cannot completely replace a player of his caliber.
As a reminder, in 2023 during his title of offensive player of the year CMC ran for 1459 yards, 14 touchdowns while adding 564 yards and 7 touchdowns through the air.
