Like James Wiseman, Isaiah Jackson tears his Achilles tendon!

It's not good to be a pivot in theIndianasince we now learn by ESPN tear of the right Achilles tendon Isaiah Jackson.

Exactly the same injury as the one suffered by his teammate James Wiseman, and this therefore means that a second interior of the Pacers is forfeited for the entire season, after not even two weeks of competition!

Replacing Myles Turner, Isaiah Jackson (7.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 average against in five games) was injured during Friday's game with the Pelicans, trying to block a shot from Brandon Ingram. Having fallen badly, he then had to be helped to leave the floor.

Aged 22 and at the end of his contract next summer, the former Kentucky resident will be operated on Monday and the Pacers will seek to strengthen themselves in the racket to relieve Myles Turner, Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin.

Among the players still without a contract who could help them, we think of the indestructible Bismack Biyombo and to JaVale McGee. The Pacers can also set up a trade to recover an interior little used elsewhere.
