2024, Olympic year! In full preparation in Las Vegas for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Stephen Curry took the opportunity to unveil two colors of its next signature shoe in collaboration with Under Armor: the Curry 12 ! The Warriors leader stayed in the theme since the two models he then wore were in the colors of Team USA.
As with the Curry 11, the twelfth signature shoe benefits from a unique cut, rising high enough at the heel to protect the Achilles tendon then descending below the malleolus, and with an upper visibly in classic mesh, a bit less airy than on previous versions. We can also read “Greatest Shooter Ever” on the edges of the tongue. There is also a 3D molded TPU reinforcement at the heel.
At the sole level, ultra-light and dynamic dual-density UA Flow cushioning is complemented by a pre-cut open-cell foam insole, and a durable UA Flow outer covering.
The first color put on sale in France is called “Gravity”, with a mainly white upper with finishes in fluorescent yellow and black, particularly at the heel, a marriage that can be found on the UA Flow sole, on which the player logo stands out in fluorescent yellow, like on the tongue.
