Christian Koloko can take a deep breath. Sidelined for a year due to a blood clot problem that required surgery and put the rest of his career in jeopardy, the Cameroonian pivot was finally allowed to play in the NBA again after resuming training in July.
Back on the market, the Douala native interested several teams, such as the Clippers, the Spurs, his former team the Raptors, and the Lakers. It didn't take long for Los Angeles to get the last word. The Athletic revealed yesterday that the two sides had reached an agreement.
It remains to be seen what kind of deal this is, since the Lakers already have 15 players under contract and their three “two-way players” (Armel Traoré, Blake Hinson and Colin Castelton).
