Jae Crowder on trial with the Kings

The Kings are looking for experienced players. After recruiting DeMar DeRozan this summer, the Californians will try out Jae Crowder this week according to Fox40.

The 34-year-old winger is looking for a new opportunity after his last two years with the Bucks. Two relatively mixed years for him who, after his arm wrestling with the Suns in 2023, had made Milwaukee his priority.

He had complained about his low playing time after his first practice there, wondering why he had been brought in. Jae Crowder had decided to re-sign for another season, marked by similar playing time and an injury that limited him to 50 games played.

In the playoffs, the one who was compared to PJ Tucker when he arrived did not have the impact shown in the past with the Celtics, the Heat or the Suns. In eight cumulative appearances in the first two rounds, he mainly shone with his clumsiness: 2 points on average at 24% shooting success…

It should be remembered that the Kings, who recently tested Isaiah Thomas and Lonnie Walker IV for their 15th contract, have in their ranks Keegan Murray, Trey Lyles and Jalen McDaniels, another summer acquisition, at the winger position.
