Mike Brown has found his new “right-hand man”

Jordi Fernandez poached by the Nets to become their coach, Mike Brown was looking for a new “right-hand man” for the upcoming season. This role of “first assistant” is increasingly valued in the NBA, and it is often a springboard to take the reins of a franchise in the short term. In Sacramento, they opted for an internal promotion since in a press release announces that it will be Jay Triano, assistant since 2022.

They are Jim Moran, former coach of the Blazers G-League team, and Riccardo Fois, former assistant at the University of Arizona.

Among the promotions, we will note that of Jawad Williams, now assistant coach and head of training. Former interior of the Cavaliers, he had passed through Paris-Levallois in Pro A.
