Wolves invite Chasson Randle

Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert were more talked about this summer for their campaigns at the Paris Olympics than the Wolves' recruitment. Western Conference finalists after taking out the Suns and Nuggets, the Wolves lost Monte Morris (Suns) and Kyle Anderson (Warriors), whom they replaced with PJ Dozier (ex-Nuggets) and Joe Ingles (Magic). In Minnesota, the number one weapon is roster stability.

For now, the Wolves have 14 players under contract, and the players invited to the “training camp” will be able to fight for this 15th and final place in the squad. Among them, there will be Chasson Randle. HoopsHype announces that the 31-year-old point guard has accepted an invitation, and it's a return to the NBA for him since he played for AEK Athens last season, after stints in New Zealand and Puerto Rico.

Having played for the Knicks, Sixers, Wizards, Warriors and Magic, he hasn't been seen in the NBA for three years. At the time, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists with Orlando.
