Serbia's second-best scorer behind Nikola Jokic, with an average of 18.3 points and a superb 46% success rate at 3-pts, and particularly brilliant against Team USA, Bogdan Bogdanovic is not only appreciated by Carmelo Anthony. He is also appreciated by his compatriot, Darko Rajakovic, coach of the Raptors.
“His involvement in basketball is truly incredible,” declares the latter. “He pays a lot of attention to his diet, he takes special care of his body. Physically, he is better every season.”
He remains on his best season of his career
The 32-year-old forward's Olympic performance is in line with his season in Atlanta, his best in his career statistically with 16.9 points per game. Before his eighth season in the United States, Bogdan Bogdanovic has established himself as a solid player in the NBA.
“I think he can play in the league for another 6 or 7 years without any problem,” assures the Toronto coach. “It's always complicated to prepare for matches against him (19.5 points on average at 42% on 3-pts against the Canadiens last season). He always has a smile on his face, he loves playing basketball. I'm a fan of his.”
