Ravens: A special helmet against the Bengals

No need for Halloween to scare opponents. Like all NFL teams, the Ravens are allowed to use an alternate helmet once during the season. Unveiled this Thursday, the purple helmet is a great success.

Dubbed the “Purple Rising” helmet, it will be worn in Week 10 against rivals Cincinnati. Specifically, the game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on November 7th on a Thursday Night Football with an enticing lineup.

According to Brad Downs, Vice President of Marketing for the Ravens:

“The response to our Purple Rising helmet has been overwhelmingly positive, from both players and fans.”

In Week 4, the Ravens will also swap their purple uniform for an all-black outfit called “Darkness Falls.” It will be against Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills.
