When James Harden Shined in College

Before establishing himself as one of the best players of his generation, James Harden (35 years old, this August 26) had spent two seasons at Arizona State. Without the beard and with a more classic haircut, the future left-hander of the Thunder and the Rockets had really hurt other universities. The proof with his 36-point performance against Oregon on February 5, 2009.

That season, his last before his arrival in the big league, Harden had compiled 20.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, and won the trophy of the best player of the Pac-10. Which logically explains his 3rd place in the 2009 Draft behind Blake Griffin and the flop Hasheem Thabeet.

Since then, the Clippers guard has built one of the most formidable records in American basketball with an MVP title, 10 All-Star Game selections, six selections in the First All-NBA Team, a trophy for the best sixth man, three titles of the best scorer in the NBA and two titles of the best passer. To this must be added an Olympic champion title, a world champion title, and a place in the Top 75 of the best players of all time.
