Jeremy Lamb retires

The time for retirement has come for Jeremy Lambwho has announcement the news on his social networks. Aged (only) 32, he had not set foot on an NBA court since April 2022, due to a lack of opportunities after his time in Sacramento.

In ten seasons in the league, the guard will have played for four franchises: the Thunder, the Hornets, the Pacers and then the Kings. He averages 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in nearly 600 games, shooting 44% (including 34% from 3-point range) and 86% from the free throw line.

A natural scorer, capable of averaging up to 15.3 points in his best years in Charlotte, Jeremy Lamb certainly won nothing in the NBA, but he did help UConn win the NCAA title in 2011, alongside Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier.

Kemba Walker, a player that the 12th pick of the 2012 Draft will also have rubbed shoulders with at the Hornets between 2015 and 2019. In addition, he is famous for having scored, in March 2019, one of the craziest “buzzer beaters” of the last decade.
