Could the wind be turning in your favor again? Yes Morant ? After having to endure two suspensions following extra-sporting slip-ups, for having played too much with firearms, then suffering a serious shoulder injury, the Grizzlies leader knows that he will be expected to deliver at the turn when play resumes, on and off the field.
Last weekend was a Yes Morant humble and proud who found the light again during his induction ceremony into the Hall of Fame of his university, Murray State. It was also an opportunity for Nike to unveil the Ja 2, Ja Morant's second signature shoe, which confirms the commitment of the brand with the comma to the phenomenon.
While waiting for the resumption, his new agent, Mike Miller, assured that Ja Morant was preparing to shine again on the courts next season. “I'm telling you already: Ja Morant is back to show how hard he's worked.”, he told the OGs Show podcast hosted by Shams Charania. “How soon will they forget? Soon they will forget. That's all I have to say.”
Determined to come back strong
In his role, the former Heat and Magic shooter sees Memphis once again involved in the fight for the top spots in the West, with each player back in their role, and a returning Ja Morant as leader.
“He's going to come back strong. The city wants to see that, and it's going to be fun. They're going to have Marcus Smart playing. Desmond Bane has missed a lot of games, Jaren Jackson Jr. has missed a lot of games, and they're going to add Zach Edey, playing everybody at their natural position.”he added. “The reality is that Ja was absent, and the players were not playing in their positions. When Ja came back, everyone had found their place and the team was strong again. It will be interesting to follow.”
If the bad luck leaves Tennessee, Taylor Jenkins' team will indeed look great, with also the return of Brandon Clarke, and the contributions of GG Jackson, Luke Kennard, Derrick Rose and Santi Aldama.
