It's not the transfer of the year, but it's still a transfer to highlight between the Suns and the Hawks. Last night, we learned that ESPN that David Roddy joined Atlanta and EJ Liddell flew away to him Phoenix.
The central element of this exchange is of course David Roddy (23 years old), who is changing teams for the second time in the space of six months. After going from the Grizzlies to the Suns this winter, he is now going from the Suns to the Hawks this summer, where he will come to strengthen the rotation on the wing of Zaccharie Risacher's new franchise. The 23rd pick in the 2022 Draft has a career average of 6.6 points and 3.0 rebounds.
As for EJ Liddell, also drafted in 2022 (41st position), he is even less known than his counterpart and has only played nine games in the NBA (including regular season and playoffs).
Exclusively spent by the Pelicans, he also plays on the wing and landed in Atlanta as part of the transfer involving Dejounte Murray. In Phoenix, the 23-year-old player will try to get minutes behind Kevin Durant, Royce O'Neale and Nassir Little.
