Kings offer Orlando Robinson a chance

This time, the Heat will not go further in their experiments with this umpteenth undrafted player. According to Adrian Wojnarowskithe Kings have signed Orlando Robinsoncut by the Heat at the beginning of July, for one year.

With the Kings, the 24-year-old pivot is expected to play as a third rotation player behind Domantas Sabonis and Alex Len. With no guarantee, therefore, of playing more than he did in Miami.

Undrafted in 2022 after three years with Fresno State, Orlando Robinson initially experienced precariousness by signing several “two-way contracts” with the Heat, before signing a classic contract the following year.

He made about 30 appearances each year during his two seasons with the Heat, averaging about 3 points and 3 rebounds in 11 minutes. With the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the G-League, however, he averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. Including a January outing with 41 points and 13 rebounds.

More recently, Orlando Robinson showed up with the Rockets during the Summer League where he averaged 14 points and 9 rebounds in five games, shooting 59%. Confirming his good offensive skills.
