Nikola Jokic and Serbia slap Giannis Antetokounmpo's Greece

While the Americans were battling to dominate Germany, Serbia ended its preparation with an authoritative victory against Greece (94-72). Nikola Jokic and his teammates imposed their basketball and defense on Giannis Antetokounmpo and his gang.

The Greek star, orphaned by Nick Calathes (injured), was well surrounded by the Serbian defenders, sometimes with three-on-ones. The Bucks player still turned in a good performance with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

But against a Serbian team with well-regulated offensive basketball (30 assists, 12/27 on 3-pointers) and with Nikola Jokic also in good shape (16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists), Greece gradually gave way.

Symbol of Serbian success: Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 19 points with a perfect 5/5 from behind the arc!

Things will now get serious for both nations, who will have big meetings to negotiate as soon as the Olympic Games begin. Greece will begin its competition on Saturday evening, at 9 p.m., against Canada. Serbia will begin its tournament the following day, Sunday at 5:15 p.m., against Team USA.
