One year and two weeks after the official release of the Jordan Luka 2 on the sidelines of Quai 54, it is the turn of the Jordan Luka 3 to enter the light. Luka Doncic's third signature shoe will focus its first colorways on the Slovenian point guard's passion for beautiful bodies and will kick off its new collection with a “Photo Finish” version.
This one comes with a white upper, black finishes to highlight the “Jumpman” and the player's logo on the tongue, as well as on two stripes on the heel, perhaps to reflect the checkered flag suggesting the finish line of a race. The base of the upper and the forefoot are completed by TPU strips to provide more support and stability, appearing here in green, pink and neon yellow.
On a technical level, the pair has been designed to emphasize acceleration and control at full speed, with thin TPU plates to ensure foot support and the lightness of the pair and a Cushlon 3.0 midsole foam (which replaces the “Formula 23” of the Jordan Luka 2, but which will probably have a similar effect). The rubber outsole is composed of chevrons similar to those of a car's tires.
