Killian Hayes being watched by Nets

After a brief stint with the Blues this summer, Killian Hayes is now aiming for a return to the NBA. Even before the first friendly match of the French team, he had been cut by Vincent Collet and his staff, but this gives him time to find a new team for next season.

The 22-year-old point guard is now back in the United States and his agents organized a workout in Las Vegas yesterday, which the Nets reportedly attended. according to Clutch PointsThe seventh pick in the 2020 Draft could thus join a reconstruction project with Brooklyn, following the exchange of Mikal Bridges for a slew of Draft picks.

In Brooklyn, there is already Dennis Schröder and Ben Simmons at point guard, but the future of the two players is not guaranteed with the Nets, the franchise looking for a landing point for the fragile Australian.

For Killian Hayes, it is therefore possible that an opportunity will present itself, as he had convinced Monty Williams to trust him before the start of the last campaign. But his organizational skills and his defense have not been able to compensate for his clumsiness in shooting, a recurring problem during his first four seasons in the NBA.

In his career, the Frenchman averages 8.1 points and 5.2 assists in 26 minutes (210 games) but he only has a 38% success rate, including 28% from afar. And that's problematic for the position he occupies.
