Tracked by the Suns, Nigel Hayes-Davis re-signs at Fenerbahçe

Holder of the record for points in a Euroleague match, with 50 points scored in Berlin last March, Nigel Hayes-Davis was therefore tracked by several franchises, including the Suns.

But despite very serious interest from Phoenix, the 29-year-old winger will not join Arizona. Eurohoops reports thus that he has decided to extend his contract at Fenerbahçe in Turkey, where he has been playing for the past two years. He is now tied to the Istanbul club for three seasons, until the summer of 2027.

To keep him, Fener has also taken out the checkbook, offering 6.6 million dollars over three years to the former Wisconsin player, knowing that salaries in Europe are announced net of tax…

For the Suns, who still have two free spots in their squad, it's a reinforcement that flies away, while Kevin Durant will still have the opportunity to cross paths with Nigel Hayes-Davis. It will be at Team USA's training camp, the Fenerbahçe player having been called up to join the Select Team that will train with the American team.
