One more year in Denver for DeAndre Jordan

For two seasons, DeAndre Jordan is Nikola Jokic's replacement. A prestigious position, which also explains his low playing time and his declining production, but which allowed him to win a ring in 2023.

I no longer have this desire, he explained regarding his little minutes on the floor. “I'm still competitive, I want to win and play. But I don't have that desire anymore, there's no selfishness in me anymore. I want my teammates and myself to perform collectively.”

The pivot, who will be 36 on July 21, is satisfied with his situation and, according to Bleacher Reporthe will continue the adventure in Colorado for one more season, with a check for 3.6 million dollars.

DeAndre Jordan averaged 3.9 points and 4.4 rebounds this season, in 11 minutes, his worst season statistically. And perhaps this additional year with the 2023 champions will be his last, before flying to Europe, which is one of his wishes.

I would like to play in Europe. I don't know where I would like to play. Barça? I love Spain, I love different countries in Europe. I think it's a possibility, and if it arises, I'll think about it “, he said during last season.
