Reggie Jackson plays safety in Denver

While the Nuggets let Vlatko Cancar become a free agent, Reggie Jackson he decided not to be.

At 34 years old, the playmaker has decided to activate his “player option” at $5.25 million for next season, according to ESPNand we should therefore find him in the Nuggets squad for the next campaign.

For Denver, this is rather good news, because the franchise has very limited financial room to maneuver to build its bench behind its very expensive major five.

With his 10.2 points and 3.8 assists on average in 22 minutes of play this season, Reggie Jackson remains a necessary dynamite to replace Jamal Murray, especially now that Bruce Brown is gone. However, his defensive limitations and his offensive inconsistency do not make him an all-risk insurance for the Nuggets, as we saw in the playoffs, where he did not contribute much, both against the Lakers and against the Wolves …
