The Heat and the Wizards in Mexico in November

The Spurs and Pacers won't be the only franchises playing games overseas next season, as the NBA announced that the Heat and Wizards will play a regular season game in Mexico. For the 33rd time in its history, Mexico City will host an NBA game, and it will be on November 2 at the CDMX Arena in Mexico City. Last November 10, the Hawks won against the Magic in this same room.

No other country has hosted so many NBA games, and this year the game will coincide with the country's traditional “Día de los Muertos” (All Saints' Day) celebrations. The NBA specifies that the theme of “Day of the Dead” will be highlighted during the match entertainment, but also on the floor with a theme dedicated to this day.

For the Heat, this will be a third stay in Mexico, and Jaime Jaquez Jr should receive a warm welcome since he has dual American and Mexican nationality. He has already worn the selection jersey. For Bilal Coulibaly's Wizards, this will be a 4th visit to the Mexican capital.
