With the power of media attraction of Victor Wembanyama, increased tenfold this season by his arrival in the NBA, the Spurs rookie star's shoes are obviously causing a lot of talk. While we were expecting it with the new Nike GT Hustle 2, released at the start of the season, the French interior has often favored its good “old” Nike GT Run, a model that it has worn almost all season.
To compensate for this supposed “misstep”, Victor Wembanyama took advantage of the All-Star Weekend to put the Nike GT Hustle 2 in the spotlight with this magnificent color initially named “Alien”, the nickname that LeBron James gave it, with therefore the Victor Wembanyama logo on the insole.
An “Alien” logo
The mainly black upper is covered with a “galactic” pattern in shades of green, at its base, at the heel and collar, while the “Swoosh” stands out in chrome gray. The phosphorescent outsole features the words “Be Unique Every Day”, while an “Alien” logo completes the look.
First anticipated as a “one shot”, the Nike GT Hustle 2 x Victor Wembanyama has indeed entered the North American market. This week, it's France's turn to see this long-awaited model arrive. The pair is in fact available on Basket4Ballers at a price of 200 euros.
