How many players will the Knicks finish these playoffs with? While they are already playing without Julius Randle, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mitchell Robinson and OG Anunoby, Jalen Brunson's teammates have lost Josh Hart in the 6th round. “Iron Man” of the Knicks with his approximately 44 minutes of playing time in the playoffs, Hart injured his abdominal area.
It was after a fight on the rebound with Pascal Siakam that Hart immediately held his stomach or his ribs. Having left the field several times to seek treatment, he finally withdrew from the 4th quarter, and the medical staff indicated that he was suffering from abdominal pain. The question now is whether he will be able to play Game 7…
“He will do anything to play” warns Isaiah Hartenstein. “If he is able to stand on his feet, he will probably play”. Same response from Jalen Brunson: “I expect him to play. It's a Game 7! »
While Tom Thibodeau prefers to wait to know more before commenting, Miles McBride gives a little clue. “He seems to be doing better. Certainly the fact that he's asking out isn't a good sign, but I think he'll bounce back.”
For his part, Donte DiVincenzo is more fatalistic: “That’s the summary of our season, and we have enough players to get there.”
