Follow the pick-by-pick analysis of the 6th round of the 2024 NFL Draft live
177. Minnesota Vikings – Walter Rouse (OT, Oklahoma)
The Vikings strengthen their offensive line with Walter Rouse, capable of being versatile and mobile.
178. Pittsburgh Steelers – Logan Lee (DT, Iowa)
The Steelers provide rotation on the defensive line with Logan Lee, a nose tackle player.
179. Seattle Seahawks – Sataoa Laumea (OL, Utah)
Coming from Utah, Sataoa Laumea will strengthen the Seahawks offensive line which needs depth.
180. New England Patriots – Marcellas Dial (CB, South Carolina)
First defensive selection for the Patriots in this Draft with Marcellas Dial who will bring his added value in special teams during his first years.
181. Los Angeles Chargers – Kimani Vidal (RB, Troy)
Very productive in Troy, Kimani Vidal will have to beat fierce competition at the Chargers to become an important runner in Jim Harbaugh's squad.
182. Tennessee Titans – Jha'Quan Jackson (WR, Tulane)
After signing Calvin Ridley at a high price, the Titans are going for a 6th round at the receiver position. Jha'Quan Jackson is not the most productive of receivers, but has a chance to have a spot as a receiver in the slot.
183. New York Giants – Darius Muasau (LB, UCLA)
Versatile, Darius Muasau will join the rotation at the linebacker position for the Giants. Her profile may be similar to Sione Takitaki.
184. Miami Dolphins – Malik Washington (WR, Virginia)
Pure receiver in the slot, Malik Washington will be a complementary target to the current squad of receivers for Tua Tagovailoa.
185. Philadelphia Eagles (via New York Jets) – Johnny Wilson (WR, Florida State)
Expected above, Johnny Wilson is having an irregular season, but could seek a place in the Eagles' rotation at the receiver position.
186. Atlanta Falcons (via Arizona Cardinals) – Jase McClellan (RB, Alabama)
Behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, Jase McClellan has the ability to find a place in the Falcons running rotation.
187. Atlanta Falcons – Casey Washington Jr. (WR, Illinois)
He showed up in his last college game. That was enough for the Falcons to select him. Possessing good hands, Casey Washington Jr. should contribute on special teams initially.
188. Houston Texans – Jamal Hill (LB, Oregon)
He's not the most polished of linebackers, but he can be used anywhere. Jamal Hill had his record number of sacks last year, and should contribute on special teams during his rookie year.
189. Detroit Lions (via Houston Texans) – Mekhi Wingo (DT, LSU)
New LSU player to be selected with Mekhi Wingo. The defensive tackle was expected higher. His go-getter profile could convince Dan Campbell to give him a chance next season.
190. Philadelphia Eagles (via New York Jets) – Dylan McMahon (OL, NC State)
Very lively 3rd day for the Eagles with their 6th choice of the day. Can he succeed legendary center Jason Kelce, also drafted in the 6th round? Dylan McMahon has the ability despite below-average physical qualities.
191. Arizona Cardinals (via Indianapolis Colts) – Tejhaun Palmer (WR, UAB)
After Marvin Harrison Jr., it is the rotation that is addressed with this new choice from the Cardinals. Tejhaun Palmer is athletic, dynamic, despite very limited route precision.
192. Seattle Seahawks – DJ James (CB, Auburn)
Expected higher, DJ James pays for Auburn's poor season, and a below-average prototype. In any case, this compact, reactive player has the capabilities to become a starter at the nickel cornerback position.
193. New England Patriots – Joe Milton III (QB, Tennessee)
A stand-in for Drake Maye? This is what New England is doing with this 7th choice of their Draft. Joe Milton III has a strong arm, but he lacks accuracy and smooth mechanics. His readings can be improved, as well as his pocket management. He still has a lot to learn, but he could become a solid understudy in the long term given his physique as a mover.
194. Cincinnati Bengals – Tannr McLachlan (TE, Arizona)
After Tip Reiman left for the Cardinals, another tight end from Arizona is heading to the NFL. The Bengals get Tanner McLachlan. A receiver profile that can be similar to Erick All, selected in the 4th round.
195. Pittsburgh Steelers – Ryan Watts (CB, Texas)
The Steelers address the cornerback position for the first time with the selection of Ryan Watts. The Texas player will bring his athletic and physical qualities, despite below-average ball location.
196. Los Angeles Rams – Tyler Davis (DT, Clemson)
Experienced and leader, Tyler Davis becomes the 5th defensive player selected by the Rams. The Clemson player should bring pass rush qualities into the rotation on the defensive line.
