Disappeared from the radar since his suspension from the NBA last October, after having negotiated his sentence with the New York justice system for the attack on his former partner, Kevin Porter Jr. would have given his agreement to play in Greece, in the PAOK Salonika club. According to The Athletiche will finish the season there, in a championship where we find some former NBA players like Kendrick Nunn or Andrew Goudelock.
Supposed to follow a one-year program before being able to resume his professional career in the Big League, Porter Jr. has apparently found an alternative to leave the country and monetize his talents in Europe. The talented 23-year-old left-hander therefore signed up with the 8th in the Greek championship, with the prospect of playing in the playoffs.
At 19 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds during his last season in Houston, KPJ will in any case discover a culture and basketball very different from what he experienced in the United States. Which could allow him to get back on track before returning to the NBA. After being cut by the Thunder, he will be a free agent next summer.
