Jaguars: 3-year, 45 million extension for Foyesade Oluokun

Payday for Foyesade Oluokun. The 28-year-old linebacker has just extended to the Jaguars for 3 additional years and $45 million, including $22.5 million guaranteed according to Tom Pelissero (NFL Network).

15 million per year, this places Oluokun 4th among the highest paid linebackers in the league in annual average, behind Roquan Smith, Fred Warner and Tremaine Edmunds. A hell of a sum, therefore, for a player who has never been a pro-bowler.

Pillar of the Jaguars' second curtain alongside Devin Lloyd, Foyesade Oluokun is nevertheless a tackling machine: 184 tackles in 2022 (best total in the league) then 173 in 2023 (4th total in the league). Above all, the player has an undeniable quality of durability: he has not missed a match in the last 3 seasons.
