Chris Paul sent off for calling referee Tony Brothers a 'TikToker'

Throughout his career, Chris Paul was at “war” with some of the NBA referees. And it doesn't get better.

After accusing, earlier in the season, Scott Foster to referee it in a “personal” way, and to have a problem with his son, the leader of the Warriors this time took his head with Tony Brothers.

While the Pacers are heading towards victory at the Chase Center, the veteran will take two technical fouls in the last seconds of the game, each time from Tony Brothers.

In a press conference, Chris Paul explained that he picked up the first technical foul simply because he called the referee a “TikToker”, then the second because he told him he had too much power . What did he want to express by using the term “TikToker”? Asked about the subject, the leader just smiles…

In the process, he nevertheless published on Instagram an excerpt from an old interview with Tony Brothers in which the latter explains that he would have liked to be a judge, and that he is not that interested in basketball.

“But now I'm the judge, the jury, the prosecutor, the defense attorney, everyone” he said.

We doubt that the NBA will appreciate it, even if we have to see how it considers the use of the term “TikToker”…
