A leak ? What leak? On Monday, an image of the new Houston Texans jersey began circulating the web.
Cal McNair, the CEO of the franchise, then had a rather clever reflex. He went to Reddit to post a much better quality visual himself.
“ A stolen photo? How about a real photo of Nico (Collins) and Tank (Dell)!? There are even more coming in April!“, launches McNair with the image, which was immediately relayed on the official X account of the franchise.
What is changing? The numbers, first. They go from red to navy, with a new font. The name of the city replaces the inscription “Texans”, and changes from blue to red. The bands placed on the top of the shoulders pass to the side.
The blue of the pants seems deeper. The socks are now white. Difficult to see if things have changed in terms of the helmet.
This is the first big change in look for the Texans jersey since the birth of the franchise in 2002. The blue version should therefore be revealed in April.
