With the biggest salaries outside of quarterback, the Chargers decided not to keep Mike Williams.
According to NFL media, the Chargers will cut receiver Mike Williams this Wednesday. The Los Angeles franchise is still looking for space on its payroll. So, parting ways with Williams will save the Chargers $32 million.
Mike Williams becomes one of the top receivers on the free agent market.
In 2023, he only played three games due to a torn medial knee ligament. He recorded 19 of 26 receptions for 249 yards and a touchdown.
