Titans: Chidube Awuzie as reinforcement

News on the final curtain in Nashville. According to ESPN, the Titans have agreed to a 3-year contract with Chidube Awuzie for $36 million, including $23 million guaranteed.

This is the second arrival of the day for the Tennessee franchise after the announcement of the signing of Tony Pollard. Not necessarily the most publicized cornerback, Awuzie remains a solid player who reinforces air coverage. Above all, he finds Brian Callahan, former coordinator of the Bengals now head coach of the Titans.

Drafted in 2017 by the Cowboys, the 28-year-old spent the last two seasons with the Bengals, with whom he notably played in a Super Bowl. In 2023, he played in 15 games, made 53 tackles and one forced fumble.
