“Phi Slamma Jamma”. Three words that make the eyes of the oldest shine. Of those who followed basketball in the 80s.
Since its invention at the end of the 19th century, few teams have truly revolutionized basketball and left their mark on the game.
The University of Houston team of the early 1980s was one of them. With two legendary players: Nigerian pivot Akeem Olajuwon and guard Clyde Drexler, one of the best duos in the history of university basketball. Quite simply two of the best players in history.
The Phi Slamma Jamma is what we tell you today in Histoires de Basketball.
