No more playing time limits for Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton is officially 100% recovered from his hamstring injury. In any case, this is the conclusion drawn by the Pacers staff during the restart, releasing the leader from his minutes restrictions for the first match after the All-Star Break, won Thursday evening against Detroit.

Except that the player was not “officially” aware and said he learned the good news in the middle of the match, during a timeout, with the help of his teammate Jalen Smith.

“I only found out about it in the middle of the match”, he confided. “Jalen asked me, 'Are your minutes restrictions over?', in front of our assistant strength and conditioning coach, Carl Eaton. I asked him, 'Carl, is it over?' He replied: 'Yes, it's over'. So I think it’s officially over.”

The Doncic-Irving pair to confirm

For his part, the All-Star leader believes he still has a little work to do before fully returning to 100%, even if his great outing with 25 points and 13 assists in 34 minutes against the Pistons reassured everyone.

” I'm almost there. There will probably still be some pain, but today I have never felt so good, I have never moved so well. I think anyone who really pays attention to the way I move on the court would agree with that. It is a relief. I want to maintain this over time”he added.

Freed from minute restrictions, Tyrese Haliburton also said he now has a clearer mind. This is pretty good timing as the Mavs of the Doncic-Irving duo are coming to Indianapolis today.
