Chiefs lose Charles Omenihu

Just before the final, Kansas City will have to do without one of the pillars of its defensive line.

Charles Omenihu did not finish the conference finals because of a knee injury. After the game, the Chiefs defensive end assured that he would be ready for the Super Bowl. Unfortunately this seems unlikely given that the examinations seem to have detected a torn cruciate ligament according to Bleacher Report.

In addition to the upcoming final, it is therefore the defender's 2024 season which is in danger given that the recovery from such an injury is nine to twelve months.

He expressed on social networks his sadness at missing the end of his team's season, and at not being able to participate in the Super Bowl.

In eleven games this year, Omenihu has recorded 7 sacks. He added one during the game against the Ravens on Sunday.
