Ben Simmons is ready

Finally ! Ben Simmons is on his way back. In the home stretch of his rehabilitation after a new back problem, the Nets leader has visibly passed all the stages and is therefore announced as ” likely “ to participate in tonight's game against Utah, as planned.

One of those steps was returning safely from a weekend of training with Long Island's G-League team, and Ben Simmons clearly delivered. As proof, his coach declared that there were “strong chance” so that the Australian is in the game. ” I saw it. He did the whole session and there is a good chance he will play against Utah,” said Jacque Vaughn.

The Nets are not at their best

The person concerned was also encouraged and reassured by his time training in the Nets anteroom. It was with the G-League team that he first returned to the pitch and contact sessions.

” It was very good. I feel good. It was good to be on the court, running on both sides of the floor, playing and being involved in real life situations. So I'm delighted to be back and I can't wait to move on to what's next,” did he slip.

His absence weighed down Brooklyn in creation and his return will inevitably take away some headaches for Jacque Vaughn. Especially since Ben Simmons is determined to make up for lost time to make the playoffs.

“I just want to make an impact, I want to come back and win games. We've been having trouble winning lately. This is one of those points on which we must get back on the right path. I just can’t wait to play, fulfill my role and help this team win.”

As for the role that Jacque Vaughn will entrust to him from the start, the Nets coach kept the suspense, even if we can imagine that it will be done under minutes restriction, with short missions to start, in order to help you find your rhythm again. “We’ll talk about that this Monday. Let's make sure we all have a problem-free Sunday. And then I will talk to him about what awaits him next.”
