We now know the starters for the 2024 All-Star Game, which will take place on February 18 in Indianapolis. In the East, it is Giannis Antetokounmpo who was appointed captain. He is accompanied by Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Lillard, Jayson Tatum And Joel Embiid.
In the West, he's the record holder LeBron James who was once again chosen as captain. He is for his part accompanied by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Kevin Durant And Nikola Jokic in this meeting which abandons the Draft and returns to the traditional East/West format.
All that is missing is the names of the 14 substitutes, 7 in the East and 7 in the West, for the list of guests to be complete (even if injuries will undoubtedly arise…). Before the coaches decide, we ask you for your opinion on the names of the 14 players who should join Indiana next month.
It is the coaches who will designate these 14 substitutes. In each conference, they must designate two players from the “backcourt”, three from the “frontcourt” and two “wild cards”, the latter of which can play in any position.
Difficult to apply this methodology in our survey. We simply ask you to try as much as possible to respect this rule, by placing a minimum of two backcourt players or three frontcourt players among your seven choices in each conference. Overall, it still allows a fair amount of freedom.
The players are in order resulting from the mixture between the voices of the public, players and journalists. Your votes!
