Khris Middleton, launching pad for the Bucks

While he is experiencing a season of ups and downs in scoring, while he is still gaining momentum following his knee surgery, Khris Middleton is more involved than ever in the creation of the game.

While he is in his 12th season in the NBA, the All-Star guard/winger has only exceeded the 10 assists mark 16 times in his career. Including three times in the last nine matches!

Damian Lillard carried the Bucks' attack against the Warriors in the first and third quarters, but the leader did not score in the last round, the Khris Middleton – Giannis Antetokounmpo duo taking care of finishing off Golden State , with 13 points and 5 assists over the period for the first, and 15 points for the second.

“I just read the game” explains Khris Middleton on this final quarter, which he played in its entirety. “Using the pick-and-roll in the center with Brook (Lopez), Giannis or others to just play, and find the spots to hurt.”

Result ? A fourth quarter with 46 points scored, 70% shooting, with 28 points from the historic duo.

“It shows our qualities” concludes Damian Lillard. “We have the talent in this team that allows us to have periods like this. For us, it's about understanding the beauty of this situation, but also not relying on it too much. It's not often that you can approach a quarter by telling yourself that you're going to manage to score 19 times out of 27. That doesn't happen often, whatever your level. “It shows what we’re capable of, but it’s not something we want to rely on to win the game.”
