Trevor Bauer Won't Return to MLB (According to Jim Bowden)

Over the past few weeks, there have been meetings between Trevor Bauer and some MLB teams to see if a contract was possible.

We all know Bauer has talent. The last time he pitched in the majors on a regular basis, he was the best in the world. #CyYoung

But in his case, the questions are obviously not at the baseball level. Some women have stood up to denounce his behavior off the field in recent years.

He then received a huge suspension. And even if it had been reduced by MLB, the fact remains that the pitcher had several cases on his back.

Everyone is talking about the first case where the public remarks of the woman in question did not stand up, but this is not the only case.

Recall that last year, when his suspension was reduced, Bauer spoke with the Dodgers, who suddenly found themselves with the decision to keep him or not.

Afterwards, the Dodgers chose to pay him to come home, he who had another year of contract in hand.

From what we understand, is that if the Dodgers had felt that he was repentant, he potentially would have had his chance.

But that wasn't really the case.

And since the teams feel the same way, we read everywhere that he should not come back. Jim Bowden is the latest to have said this.

The former GM claims to speak only for himself, but he has antennas all over the MLB. If he says that, he's probably hearing things.

And that makes sense. With everything surrounding the pitcher, signing him would be a big risk not on the field, but at the PR level.

I think a club that wanted to sign him would get so much negative press that it would be a disaster. Perhaps freeing him would even become necessary.

We'll see, then… but don't hold your breath.
