After a valuable victory against Cincinnati and a benchmark match from George Pickens, the Steelers will taste a little offensive stability for the days to come. According to ESPN, Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday that Mason Rudolph is “scheduled to be quarterback this week.”
After the failure of the Mitchell Trubisky experiment, and despite the return of Kenny Pickett from injury, Pittsburgh will approach the coming weeks by leaving the reins of the attack to the veteran who was only a second substitute at the start of the season. Tomlin added that Pickett will have reps during practice, but the hand has clearly passed.
