End of an incredible 3-point series for Stephen Curry

Against the Blazers, Stephen Curry experienced a historic evening. Not by scoring many winning baskets or points, but by missing the target. The Warriors playmaker finished the game with only 7 points at 2/12 on the shoot and 0/8 on 3-pts.

No 3-point basket scored, it's extremely rare for the MVP of the 2022 Finals. The last time? It was November 8, 2018 after a 0/4 against the Bucks, in a meeting where he suffered an adductor injury.

Stephen Curry will return to the court on December 1, 2018, to begin a series of 268 matches in a row – an NBA record – with at least one 3-point basket under his belt. Series which therefore ended Sunday evening.

“We can’t rely on him every night”announces Steve Kerr for ESPN. “It was a tough night for him, but a team is supposed to be there in those moments. Everyone fills the gaps of the others and some players raise their level each match. It's a good sign, he carried us for a long time this season, but we need to give him more help. »

The best 3-point shooter in history, who also has the second longest streak (157 matches), therefore gives way to Damian Lillard, with his 102 matches in a row with at least one award-winning basket. The second, Cam Johnson, is far away, with 50 games.
