At around 200 euros, this ball was sold for 61,000 euros, and the symbol would have been nice… Since this ball, signed by the late Kobe Bryantis none other than the ball with which he scored 61 points at Madison Square Garden.
It was February 2009, and it is still the points record set in the new Madison Square Garden. Ten years later, in the Rockets jersey, James Harden would equal this record.
Auctioned by SCP Auctions, this ball therefore sold for 66,152 dollars, or approximately 60,800 euros. A sale made on the same day as the sales of the jersey, shorts and shoes worn by the five-time NBA champion to face the Thunder of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook during his last away game.
It was April 2016, and the set was sold for $404,331, with $305,806 for the jersey/shorts and $98,525 for the shoes.
