Ja Morant, Marcus Smart, Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke and now Luke Kennard as well as Xavier Tillman. It is not the composition of the squad, but the list of those absent from the Grizzlies, for suspension or injury. The only consolation is that the team recovered an envelope of around six million dollars to recruit an additional player. A tidy sum that they can use in an exchange, or to sign a “free agent”. For the moment, nothing has filtered out on their intentions, but Jaren Jackson Jr. needs reinforcement under the panels because he no longer has many people at his side.
