NBA tournament | The Lakers still undefeated, the Spurs already eliminated

Even if the NBA has been flashy on the courts to mark the matches of the “In-Season Tournament”, it is not necessarily easy to navigate in this tournament whose matches are staggered.

We are still starting to see things more clearly, with the Lakers (3 wins – 0 losses) who now have a good chance of reaching the quarter-finals, even if it is not yet decided. On the other hand, it is already over for Detroit, Washington, Memphis and now San Antonio, who have lost their three meetings in the competition.

For the moment, it is the Pacers, the Bucks, the Celtics, the Lakers, the Pelicans and the Kings who are directly qualified for the quarter-finals, which will be played on December 4 and 5. The Heat and the Wolves, best runners-up according to the “tiebreakers” defined by the league, complete this Top 8 for the moment.

A Top 8 a little different from that of the general ranking, notably with the Mavericks (1-2) in difficulty in this mid-season tournament even though they currently have the third best overall record.

As a reminder, the quarter-finals will be played on December 4 and 5, in the venues of the various qualified teams, while the semi-finals and the final will be played on December 7 and 9, in Las Vegas.

With at stake for the players, a bonus of 500,000 dollars for each member of the winning team.
