Deshaun Watson returns, PJ Walker returns to the bench.
Deshaun Watson (QB, Browns) will return to the NFL pitches on this ninth Sunday of the season.
Kevin Stefanski announced at a press conference this Friday that the former Houston Texans quarterback would start against the Arizona Cardinals. Watson has not played since the game against the Colts on October 22. He left the game in the first quarter after suffering a shoulder injury. Watson had already suffered from a strained right rotator cuff for four games.
In his absence, PJ Walker took over the interim role not without difficulty (A small touchdown for three interceptions and less than one completed pass out of two on average) by winning against the Colts and losing against the Seahawks.
Having participated in the entire practice this Friday for the first time this week, the Browns are hoping Watson will finally be worthy of the investment.
