Keon Johnson bounces back at the Nets

Involved in the triangle exchange around Damian Lillard, Keon Johnson left Portland for Phoenix, accompanying Jusuf Nurkic and Nassir Little to Arizona.

Except that unlike them, he was not part of the Suns’ plans, and was therefore quickly released.

The last player cut by Phoenix before the season, the former Tennessee point guard/guard still found a new base, since the Nets decided to get him back via their latest “two-way contract”.

Aged 21, Keon Johnson will now have to go back and forth between the G-League and the NBA to prove that he has his place in the Big League. What the 21st choice of the 2021 Draft, despite rare athletic qualities, has not managed to demonstrate for the moment. To the Clippers then to the Blazers.
