The transition underway in Tennessee?
With Ryan Tannehill out, suffering from a ligament sprain, the Titans turned to their rookie quarterback selected in the second round of the draft, Will Levis. And with a remarkable debut against Atlanta, the question of the future is already posed to the franchise. The four touchdowns thrown did not go unnoticed. At a press conference on Monday, Mike Vrabel confirmed that Levis will continue to lead the attack if Tannehill is still unavailable.
ProFootballTalk.com is already predicting that the rookie passer will start for the Thursday night game against the Steelers.
But with Tannehill’s mixed results, all eyes are on the end of the regular season. Vrabel, however, cut it short, explaining that the club is not ready to make decisions beyond the coming week, at least for the moment.
However, the debate is far from over, especially if Levis continues to win. Against the Falcons he completed 19 out of 29 passes for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns. To which are added 11 yards on the run.
