Nuggets lock in Zeke Nnaji’s future

We know it: the Nuggets have decided to rely heavily on their young people to supplement their solid major five.

New illustration with the contract extension of Zeke Nnajithe interior (2m06, 22 years old) having signed a new lease of $32 million over four years, which will begin from the 2024/25 season.

Note that the fourth year is a “player option”, and that he will therefore be able to become a “free agent” in 2027.

While he averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 rebounds, 56% shooting success, in 13 minutes on average last season, and almost didn’t play in the playoffs, Ezekiel “Zeke” Nnaji should however see his role grow this season, as he should be the main rotation under the circle following the departure of Jeff Green.
