Dwight Howard will not join the Warriors after all

We could expect to see him join the Warriorsespecially since he trained with team executives (Chris Paul and Draymond Green), but Dwight Howard will ultimately not sign with the Californian franchise ahead of the training camp. Information from Shams Charania.

The Athletic adds that the leaders of Golden State are not considering recruiting another interior for the moment, preferring to keep a spot free in their squad after getting their hands on Usman Garuba and Dario Saric to replace Draymond Green and Kevon Looney under the circle.

And why not give yourself a few weeks of reflection, since it could be that the “Dubs” call on Dwight Howard (or someone else?) during the training camp, or even during the regular season, if the need arises.

On the condition that the 37-year-old pivot is still available by then, because he could attract the interest of other teams in the coming days…
