Raiders: Josh Jacobs signs new contract and returns

Josh Jacobs is back! NFL Media announces that the runner has agreed with the Raiders on a one-year, $12 million contract that replaces the franchise tag that was placed on him in the spring.

With the tag, Jacobs was to get a guaranteed 10.091 million. So he gets a little bit more. Especially since he can also unlock an additional $200,000 if he reaches certain objectives.

Like Saquon Barkley earlier in the offseason, the Las Vegas runner didn’t add any extra years to his lease, just a few more dollars.

From the top of his 25 years, Jacobs comes out of an exceptional season, with 1653 yards and 12 touchdowns scored in 340 races. He added 53 receptions and 400 yards through the air.
